On April 28th, the Exodus and Ancient Warriors guilds of Karak-Norn formed a new alliance, called The Royal Council.

The purpose of this alliance is to enable both guilds to aid each other in hosting events and to progress their members into tier 4. We plan to host events both for dungeons and RvR.

Ancient Warriors is, like Exodus, one of the newer guilds on the server. However they have an active member base and can field good numbers during peak hours. Their membership is mainly in tiers 2 and 3.

Exodus members will support our alliance partners as much as possible, both on and off the battlefield. Members who have reached the 'Soldier' rank (ie registered on our forums and downloaded Ventrilo) will have access to the new alliance chat channel. You can talk on this by starting with "/a".

We hope that this fresh alliance will carry us into tier 4 and re-invigorate some of the older, failing alliances on the server. Most guilds that have been established for some time feel that their alliance does not offer them any benefits, and are disillusioned by their lack of activity. It is in our hands to ensure that our new alliance works as intended and is a benefit to all involved.

Fairly unknown to me, esp the first one, must be a newstarted guild or a T4 one.

Alliances are great and it ensures a certain lvl of activity where we can get some rvr action and not rely on pugs.

Hoping not to be too synical, just hope we dont get too many ninjas and solo free loaders or RR leachers.

But on the whole it can only get better for the alliance :)

Today we welcomed two new guilds to the alliance - Geehad En Route and Ironclad Regiment. Both guilds have been long establised in tier 4 and can field good numbers. They also share the same long term goals as us in terms of RvR and endgame.

Please give them a warm welcome!

Fucking hell, I was in an alliance with "geehad" when I was GM of my first guild on WAR, me and G ended (mate and co leader) ended up getting our guild kicked from the alliance because Geehad were a bunch of tools.

Maybe its changed now but they were pricks.

The situation over at Geehad has changed somewhat. They used to be the largest guild on the server (who'd want to be THAT?!), and thought that it was enough. However they now realise that they wasted a huge opportunity, and want to make good :D

I see a lot of potential in the remaining members, and they are a lot more server and campaign focused than they were back in the day.

If not, they go

They used to be the largest guild on the serverThose were times... Everywhere they :-)
I see a lot of potential in the remaining members, and they are a lot more server and campaign focused than they were back in the day.I think that they always were. It is just that after other servers joined it is kind of opportunity to do something.
Sad truth is that after merge a lot of old players and guilds (including my old one) just vanished.

Tis a shame they spelt the name wrong though, back at launch it was the topic of quite a few region chats.
