Patch 1.4 has made quite a difference to the way we are playing Rift, and while it's not perfect it is certainly a huge improvement for open world PvP players and a great indicator of the potential this game has.
Previously we'd organise guild PvP events, gather up our forces, and then struggle to find anyone to fight against. This would frustrate everyone, especially those who joined the game looking for only PvP content. However with the introduction of daily PvP quests and the new PvP rifts, we don't have to look very far at all to find a Defiant PvP raid at pretty much any time of the day.

As a guild we try to make the most of everything, and play both sides of the game to its full potential. We have been progressing well in PvE raid content, with two full guild raids farming endgame content at an excellent pace. We have also been ranking up our members Prestige Rank in readiness for the re-introduction of guild PvP events. And it seems 1.4 is enough for us to start gathering again and showing the Defiants of Whitefall who is boss.
So watch out Defiants - Cyrus are coming to get you!
