Starting from tomorrow, Exodus will be changing. We are introducing a 2 tier system, both with equal drive and importance, and both being able to focus on their own goals.
Exodus will essentially be transferred to a new guild called "Mass Exodus", with the same core values, high member activity and friendly atmosphere. The goal of this guild is to rank members up, both in groups and with the freedom to do their own thing. Mass Exodus will become a training ground, both for the game and for endgame.
That will leave Exodus free to focus entirely on endgame content. Open only to active members of rank 37 or higher, Exodus will have a greater requirement for commitment to teamwork, guild warbands, scenario groups and endgame dungeons. This will greatly enhance the experience and enjoyment for all members, and offer members still levelling up a further incentive to join a highly active and committed guild in the future.
Further details of these changes and what members need to do are posted within our member forums - if you haven't already done so then please check these out.
The newly focused Exodus will not transform magically overnight, and will take some work from all of us before we are at a stage where we are where we want to be. However we are very fortunate to be able to make this kind of move as a guild, and we hope that both the core and ranking members all appreciate the opportunities this opens for us.
With these changes, it is essential to keep in mind that we are all still one guild. No member from one guild is more senior or more valied than a member in another guild. Membership between Exodus and Mass Exodus is chosen by the member themselves once they reach the specific rank requirements (which should be everyones goal).
We will ensure that we hold regular events that bring the two guilds together, and as a guild we obviously share both this website and our ventrilo server.
I look forward to these changes, and I hope in the long run we will all look back and agree that this was when Exodus became a guild to be feared and respected!
NB. Some members did not like the name "Exodus Reserves" as it sounded secondary. We therefore created a new guild called "Mass Exodus" for this purpose. We hope you enjoy! It will rank up very quickly with the number of members we have. Exodus Reserves will now be used as our inactive / crafting / afk guild, replacing the "Lost and Found" guild.
