Today, the guilds Exodus (including Mass Exodus), Ancient Warriors and Geehad En Route formed a new alliance, called 'The Syndicate'.
Having previously been in 'The Royal Council' beforehand, we decided that some of the guilds there had basically ceased to be, and as we were unable to remove them, the only option left to us was to reform a new alliance.
In doing so, we will be looking at renewed ways of improving our alliance co-operation. Each guild has expressed their intentions, and all members want the same thing out of the alliance. So it is up to us to learn how to make this work. Each of the 3 guilds are large and active, and we should be able to organise some very useful events.
Although we will accept new guilds into this alliance if they can demonstrate they have a large, active membership, our focus for now is on improving on how we do things. Once we have learned to work well together on a regular and sustained basis, we may seek to merge with another large alliance.
One idea that we will be discussing is having a shared alliance ventrilo, instead of separate ventrilo servers for each guild. We would still have our own guild sections, but being on the same server would allow us to quickly change channel for an alliance event.
Chat permissions will be reset within the next 24 hours.
