Closed Beta 6 was the first opportunity for many of the newer Cyrus members to get together in Aion since joining the legion, having spent weeks strategizing and theorycrafting on our forums.
It was really great to finally get the chance to put some voices to the usernames, and I think we can all see that we have it in our capability to not only form a great community, but to succeed in the world of Aion. And it was especially nice to see Ventrilo filled up again - very encouraging!
However, not all is rosy in the Cyrus HQ, and already some very serious discussions are taking place amongst the officers. While superficially we are looking to be in a strong position - nice community, knowledgable players, yada yada yada, closer examination only goes to highlight the grave and potentially fatal problems within the legion.
I am, of course, referring to our Cheer Squad.
There was a definite absense of Spirit Sticks during our first rehersal, which matched the complete lack of timing and co-ordination of some of our older members. Yes, to the casual bystander we may have looked, as some called out during our routine, "Awesome!", "Great!", and "a bit gay though!", I only have to show you exhibit "A" - a very telling screenshot:

Exhibit "A" - screenshot depicting a complete lack of timing and co-ordination!
Now if we are ever going to stand a chance of progressing in this game, completing the many dungeons and instances throughout the world, causing complete havoc and chaos to the Asmodians through rifts, and completely dominating in The Abyss, we MUST LEARN TO CHEER TOGETHER!!
How will it look when we are staring down our mortal enemy from across the batlefield, and we mess up our very first K pyramid?!! Could anything be more embarrassing?!
Well, I'll stop now. I don't want to ruin everyones first Cyrus experience too much! I just thought you should all know what you have let yourself in for!
Mwaaahahahahahahahaha (etc) *strokes cat*

There's always one that has to be the attention-whore!
