Exodus Reserves - Alt Guild

Today we launched "Exodus Reserves" - this is a new guild which will be used as our "Alt" guild.

This is essentially for members of Exodus who wish to have characters within our guild network, but who may not use those characters regularly enough to fulfil our character activity policy. Once the alt guild reaches rank 6, we will add it to an alliance with our main guild.

Another good use of this guild is for arranging "Alt Events", where guild members start a new character and we raid Tier 1! Our first alt event, led by Sianey, took place today where we managed to lock the Elven lands of Tier 1, capturing, defending and retaking all the BOs.

This was a fun event and a welcome change of pace. The highlight of the day was when we came up against superior forces at the Empire warcamps. We therefore organised targetted suicide runs against a pre-determined victim, most often a Sorc called Suzana (who must have earned several victim / resurrected unlock titles!).

Just to clarify:

Alt characters are still welcome in the main Exodus guild - in fact if you play them regularly then this is where they belong.

Exodus Reserves is for non-active characters for active members of Exodus. These are usually characters that you don't intend to level up, but only use for testing, alt events, or banking / crafting.

If you wish to move an alt character from Exodus to Exodus Reserves, use the search facility in-game to see if anyone is logged on, and then send them a tell for an invite. Once you have joined it, add a member note to the Guild Roster stating who your main Exodus guild character is.

Nice one Red its always nice to stick alts somewhere so u dont have to constantly turn down guild invites.

All members can indeed invite others to the alt guild, not just officers :)

Any member within the alt guild can invite others to the guild, not just me/officers :)

Maybe its a nice idea to use a week or so to level up the alt guild with active high rank characters. THe alt guild is still lvl2 and its not going up that fast. A week with active characters would get the guild to lvl6 very fast (for alliance).

The alt guild is now Rank 5! Just one more rank to go until it can form an alliance with our main guild. That means you can play on your alts and still chat with members in the other guild, see the events planned and so on. :)
